55nm GTX280 Clocks Revealed

Over the past month or so, more and more details have arisen about the 55nm refresh of Nvidia’s GT200 series.  However, up till now the focus has been primarily on the GTX260 and dual GPU cards.  However, now the focus goes to the GTX280 update.

Receiving the branding name of the GTX285, the new 55nm card will improved stock clocks of 648/1476/1242MHz for the core, shaders, and memory respectively.  This is a 7.6% increase for the core, 13.9% for the shaders, and 12.2% for the memory compared to the 602/1296/1107MHz stock clocks of the current GTX280.

According to DigiTimes, the GTX285 is expected to be showcased at CES 2009 on January 9th alongside the dual-GPU GTX295 card.  It also seems that Nvidia will reveal their new GT300 GPU later in quarter one of next year.

Is Nvidia finally getting back on track?
