Acer reveals their 4K HDR10 ET430 series display

Demand for modern 4K displays is growing, whether it be for the creation or playback of high-resolution content or to access new features like HDR support.

On many 4K PC displays, users complain about the need for display scaling on 28-inch screens or smaller, with the high detail of 4K being difficult to notice on small screen sizes. This makes smaller 4K displays difficult to use, at least without display scaling.
This had caused end users to demand larger 4K monitors, offering the same number of pixels while offering a more usable pixel density for productivity. This is where Acer’s new ET430 series comes in.

Acer’s new ET430 Kwmiiqppx comes with a 4K HDR10 ready display with an IPS type panel, offering support for two HDMI 2.0 connections and HDCP 2.2 support for high-resolution content playback and a single DisplayPort connection. This display is listed as an IPS type panel with support for 10-bit colour and supports local dimming for deeper blacks.
