While some reports on this monitor have claimed that this screen only supports DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0, we must note that DisplayPort 1.2 only supports 4K at up to 60FPS. Our guess is that this screen is actually using DisplayPort 1.3 or 1.4, which actually support 4K at 120Hz. In total, the screen is said to feature a single DisplayPort connection and three HDMI 2.0 connections. The screen is also said to support four USB ports, a single headphone jack and a SPDIF audio out connection. Update – Dell has updated their press information to confirm that this screen supports DisplayPort 1.4, not 1.2
The rear of the screen is said to be VESA compliant and offer a 0.5ms grey-to-grey response time. The screen also features a remote, which allows the screen to be controlled at a distance. Some reports have also claimed that this screen will lack HDR support.Â
This screen’s North American release date is September 30th 2019 and cost $3999.99 US. At this time it is unknown when this screen will release outside of North America. Update – The screen will release in the UK for £3,199.99 on October 30th.Â
