AMD Cashback with ASUS TUF and Dual Cards
ASUS Cashback with AMD Radeon
ASUS Cashback with AMD Radeon
There is nothing you can do that will improve performance more than buy a new graphics card. Motherboards bring very minor upgrades. Modern processors are so fast for gaming that a Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 9 are closely matched. Graphics cards though. Just going from a previous generation to the current one will be a massive upgrade. If money is tight and you’re on something even older, then you won’t believe the performance available from current models.
The AMD RDNA 3 range absolutely nails that concept. The 5000 series were good. The 6000 series brought reasonable performance to the table. The current 7000 series though have a model which will impress you no matter where in the range you go. If you’re after a monster card, then the RX 7900 XTX is the flagship, with amazing performance in nearly every scenario. The RX 7800 XT is the sweet spot between price and performance. Even the base RX 7600 is a stonking 1080 card.
Of course we all know money is the key determinator. The AMD Radeon cards are already priced competitively, but with the new ASUS Cashback offer there has never been a better time to get on board.
Radeon Benefits
One of the key things about AMD is their willingness to bring technologies to the market that benefit the gamer. The most famous is unquestionably the AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology. Otherwise known as FSR, and now on it’s third generation. This brings you massive performance gains with minimal image quality impact. Best of all it’s compatible with a raft of games. Almost every game you’re likely to want to play supports FSR. It’s really impressive.
If that isn’t enough that within their driver software they have introduced two alternative ways to gain those valuable frames per second. Radeon Super Resolution – RSR – uses the FSR algorithm but allows it to be applied to games which don’t have native FSR support. No longer are you hamstrung by a game not including the FSR technology. It even works with ray-traced titles. Their second new technology is AMD Fluid Motion Frames. A technology we discussed in our Radeon RX 7600 XT review, it doubles your frame-rate in most titles, albeit at a tiny bit of image degradation. No performance is free after all. But it’s great if you just want smooth motion.

TUF Gaming Cards
ASUS offer cashback on both their Dual and TUF Gaming cards. The ASUS TUF Gaming range is very much all the card you actually need. The Strix models might be more glitzy or famous, but the TUF delivers affordable performance. With the current ASUS Cashback offer you’re getting ever better value for money across the whole range.
How much you ask?
All TUF Gaming Radeon models have the cashback offer. At the top end the RX 7900 XTX – the AMD flagship card – gives you a whopping £85 back. That’s easily enough that you could make a step up in model, or maybe treat yourself to a raft of games to enjoy on your new card. £75 cashback is available should you buy the RX 7900 XT. Moving down the list finds the RX 7800 XT with £60 cashback, the RX 7700 XT returning £55, and the TUF Gaming RX 7600 XT refilling your wallet to the tune of £40.
What we really like about the TUF Gaming cards is their commitment to performance above all else. You’re not paying for lightbars or RGB fans. You’re paying for the card, cooled to a high level for maximum consistent performance during marathon sessions.

ASUS Dual Cards
If you want to save more money on the initial purchase before you’ve ever had the pleasure of the cashback, the ASUS Dual range ticks that box.
The Dual gives you the same amount back on the relevant card as its TUF counterpart. It’s great to see that you’re not punished for only being able to afford a two fan card instead of the flash TUF model. There isn’t a Dual RX 7900 model. However, you can get; £60 cashback on the RX 7800 XT. £55 back on the RX 7700 XT. £40 on the RX 7600 XT and £35 on the base RX 7600 Dual card. Every little helps.

Remember to keep your receipt to ensure you can redeem your cashback. Also don’t hang around as there is only five days between the offer ending and the redemption period ending. Given that money can be tight for all of us we’d have preferred the cashback to be a raw price drop at the counter. This way around you need to, albeit temporarily, have the money on hand to buy at full price. Nonetheless, if you’ve been eyeing up an upgrade this is the perfect time to drop a new GPU into your rig.
