AMD “Reference” Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU spotted in China

Real AMD “Reference” RX 9070 XT graphics card spotted

Uniko’s Hardware has spotted a Reference/MBA (Made by AMD) Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. This is a graphics card that AMD didn’t officially release, though its renders were used for marketing purposes.

The owner of this MBA RDNA 4 graphics card has allegedly sold this GPU online. The purchaser of this GPU may showcase it online soon, giving us a better look at this unreleased graphics card. Sadly, the images provided only show the rear of this graphics card clearly. As such, we cannot confirm if it perfectly matches AMD’s marketing images/renders.

As of now, there is a lot of demand for AMD “MBA” RX 9070 XT graphics cards. Typically, GPUs like AMD’s MBA  and Nvidia’s Founders Edition models are sold at each manufacturer’s official MSRP price. For this reason, customers love these GPU models, as they can be purchased at a reasonable price. With aftermarket GPU designs costing more while delivering minimal performance gains, it’s easy to see why many gamers prefer MBA/Founders Edition GPUs.

It’s unknown why AMD didn’t release MBA Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards. Perhaps their design used a heatsink that was too costly for an MSRP graphics card. That said, the release of AMD-made MSRP GPUs would put downward pressure on the prices of aftermarket GPU models, and consumers would love that.
