AMD releases Alpha 18.1.1 driver to address Adrenalin’s DirectX 9 issues

It is finally here, AMD’s fix for Radeon Software Adrenalin’s infamous DirectX 9 bug. This fix comes in the form of an Alpha driver, a release of Radeon Software Adrenalin that has been quickly released to appease those who were affected by this well-publicised issue.

If you are unaffected by this issue our recommendation is to wait until AMD officially releases their next Beta or WQHL certified release of Radeon Software Adrenalin, as like all Alpha software there is a chance for a bug to slip through the cracks or for the fix to not function as intended. This driver is specifically for those who want to play affected games like Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Red Alert 3, The Witcher Enhanced Edition and Battle for Middle Earth 1 and 2.
