AMD Software 26.7.1 arrives for Radeon users on Windows

AMD launches AMD Software 26.7.1 for Gears of War E-Day’s open beta

AMD has officially launched its AMD Software 26.7.1 driver for Radeon GPU users on Windows 11. The driver adds official support for AMD’s new Radeon RX 9050 graphics card, and is ready for Gears of War: E-Day’s open beta. This driver is also ready for Out of Control Evolution.

Alongside new hardware/game support, this driver includes several software fixes. Note that many of these fixes apply to AMD’s Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards, making this driver a must for RDNA 3 GPU users. Furthermore, this driver addresses AMD FSR 4.1-related issues with RDNA 3 GPUs on Windows 11.

  • Model flickering or rendering failure may be observed in Maxon Cinema 4D and Blender on Radeon RX 7000 series and above graphics products.
  • Intermittent application crash may be observed on some models while running Blender on Radeon RX 7000 series and above graphics products.
  • Directional indicator icon may fail to render while playing Fortnite on Radeon RX 7000 series and above graphics products.
  • Intermittent application crash may be observed in some games with AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 enabled on Windows 10 systems for Radeon RX 7000 series graphics products.
  • AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation may show as inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield 6 when enabled on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.

Known Issues

• Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible.
• Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD graphics products.
• Failure to install may be observed while installing AI Bundle components in some regions with limited access to HuggingFace and GitHub.
• AMD Smart Access Memory may become disabled after driver installation on Windows 10 systems.

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1 is compatible with the following AMD Radeon products. This driver does not support pre-RDNA AMD GPUs.
