AMD Vega teaser shows Halo imagery

An AMD teaser for Vega has showcases images from Halo, Star Wars Battlefront, Overwatch and Quake Champions. This has left many wondering, yet again, if the Halo: Master Chief Collection will soon be coming to PC.

Right now seems like the perfect time to announce the arrival of modern Halo games on PC, especially given the recent announcement of Project Scorpio and the release of Halo Wars 2 on both PC and Xbox One.

With Project Scorpio releasing at the end of this year, there is a chance that Microsoft will add 4K support for Halo: The Master Cheif Collection and Halo 5: Guardians to help draw more people to the platform, with the recent PC release of Halo 5: Forge on PC already showing that the game’s engine is already PC ready.

While this could be a hint as a PC release of Halo, there is always a chance that AMD added their image to their marketing material by mistake, so this should not be seen as a confirmation that the Halo Master Chief Collection is coming to PC.
