AMD’s Radeon Vega teaser video has been leaked

AMD’s Radeon Vega teaser video has been leaked, giving us our first true glimpse of AMD’s next high-end Radeon GPU, showing a brushed metal cooler design and a lot of AMD Radeon and Vega branding.

We can see that like the AMD RX Fury X the Radeon Vega will have red/blue LEDs to act as a GPU power/load Tachometer, with switches that can be used to turn this function on or off and switch the LED colours from red to blue. We can see that this new GPU is longer than the R9 Fury X, with this new GPU likely coming with an air-based cooling solution rather than an integrated AIO water cooler.

This GPU will be a 2-slot thick card, with a full cover backplate and two PCIe power connections, though at this time the exact power specifications of this card are unknown, with the below images being unclear on whether this is a 2×8-pin or an 8-pin 6-pin solution.

Below is what looks like the packaging of AMD’s RX Vega review samples, serving a similar function to AMD’s famous “Ryzen 7 Wooden Box”, though at this time the exact contents of this packaging are unknown.

Above AMD’s RX Vega Radeon logo is a GPU BIOS switch, which will be a handy feature for Pro overclockers who want to use modified BIOS’ with this new GPU.
