AOC reveals its 5120×1440 AGON AG493UCX, a double-wide 120Hz 1440p monitor
Ready for some insanity-tier Ultrawide action? AOC has unveiled their new AGON AG493UCX monitor, offering a staggering 49-inch screen size and a resolution that is equivalent to two 1440p (2560×1440) monitors standing side-by-side.
This 49-inch monitor offers users a 120Hz refresh rate, uses VA technology and features a 1ms MPRT spec. The screen is also designed to deliver 178-degree viewing angles, support for 93% of the DCI-P3 colour space and a colour depth of 16.7 million.Â
Input-wise this display supports dual HDMI 2.0 ports and dual DisplayPort 1.4 connection, a delta-E value of less than two and a USB Type-C connection. This USB Type-C that can be used as an extra display input and to transfer power to compatible devices.Â
Users of this monitor will be able to enjoy height, tilt and swivel adjustment options, as well as support for VESA 100×100 monitor stands and wall mounting solutions. Â
At this time it is unknown when this monitor will release in the US and EU. This monitor’s pricing is also unknown.Â
