ASRock unveils White Taichi RX 9070 XT GPU with a built-in LCD
ASRock unveils its Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi White OC graphics card
ASRock has unveiled a new version of its Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi, offering gamers an all-white aesthetic and a 2-inch LCD screen. This new GPU will become ASRock’s new flagship model, arriving with more RGB elements and new features.
Performance-wise, this GPU matches the specifications of its non-white Taichi OC counterpart, with a boost clock of 3100 MHz. The GPU also uses a 12V-2×6 power connector for power, unlike most other high-end Radeon RX 9070 XT models.
Strangely, ASRock’s announcement video for this GPU contained errors, claiming that AMD’s RX 9070 XT had a 384-bit memory bus while showing the GPU with a single 8-pin power connector. To confirm, all Radeon RX 9070 XT models feature 16GB of GDDR6 memory over a 256-bit memory bus.
A built-in LCD display and tonnes of RGB
Aside from its white cooling solution and white PCB, ASRock’s biggest change to this GPU is the addition of a 2-inch LCD screen. This screen can display system information, a clock/date, a weather forecast, or an image or animation.
We expect ASRock to showcase its new Taichi White GPU at CES 2026 in January. We expect the GPU to launch shortly after. ASRock has not unveiled the price of this new GPU. However, we can expect it to cost more than its standard RX 9070 XT Taichi OC.
