ASUS announce their ROG GTX 1080 Ti Poseidon

 
ASUS have announced their new ROG GTX 1080 Ti Poseidon, offering a hybrid air/water cooler with next generation DirectCU H20 cooling. 
 
This new GPU is designed to offer cooler operating temperatures be allowing users to integrate this GPU into their existing water cooling loop, without the need to install an aftermarket water block or voiding their warranty. 
 
When compared to their previous DirectCU H2O design, the GTX 1080 Ti Poseidon will offer 40% more heatsink dissipation areas and a 20% increase in water channel flow. This new GPU design will have higher operating temperatures when relying solely on air cooling.

At this time ASUS has not announced the final clock speeds of this new GTX 1080 Ti GPU, though it is likely to offer speeds that ae similar to ASUS’ existing GTX 1080 Ti Strix.
