ASUS announce their Zenbook 3 Deluxe UX490 laptop
This new notebook is the new Flagship of ASUS’ Zenbook lineup, coming with an Intel Kaby Lake i7 7500 or an i5 7200, up to 16GB of DDR4 memory and up to 1TB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage. Â
One of the biggest upgrades that ASUS has made to this new notebook is an upgrade from a 13-inch screen to a 14-inch screen, giving users a lot more screen space to work with while maintaining the same form factor with a thinner bezel.Â
The Zenbook 3 will sport a resolution of 1080p and cover 100% of the sRGB colour gamut, making this display suitable for professional use.

Â
With a weight of 1.1Kg and a maximum thickness of 12.9mm, this is the very essence of a “thin-and-light” notebook, offering a lot of performance in a highly portable form factor.Â
ASUS’ Zenbook 3 features two USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB Type-C ports which support Thunderbolt 3, both of which support 4K displays or the connection of an external GPU. This laptop will also have an additional USB Type-C port with USB 3.0 connectivity. Sadly this notebook has no USB Type-A ports, though adapters are available. Â
Below are this notebook’s full specifications.Â
