ASUS announces their ROG Strix XG35VQ display

ASUS has officially listed their new 34-inch ROG Strix XG35VQ display on their website, heralding the imminent release of new ASUS Strix-series FreeSync displays onto the market. 
 
The XG35VG will come with a large 21:9 3440x1440p display, with a maximum refresh rate of 100Hz and a FreeSync range of 48-100Hz, making it compatible with AMD’s LFC (Low Framerate Compensation Technology). This display uses a 1800R curved VA-type panel and offers a 4ms grey-to-grey response time, 100X sRGB coverage and the rear and base of this display offering ASUS Aura RGB illumination.  

Connectivity wise this 1440p VA display comes with an HDMI 2.0, an HDMI 1.4, dual USB 3.0 (+1 upstream) and a single DisplayPort 1.2 connection, as well as support for a standard earphone jack. ASUS’ unique stand design also offers users a range of adjustment options from Swivel (+50 to -50 degrees), Tilt (+20 to-5 degrees) and height adjustments (0 to +100MM height).

ASUS has not officially revealed the retail pricing of this display, though it is expected to release at a similar price to other premium 3440×1440 100Hz FreeSync offerings.
