ASUS GTX 980Ti Strix Ice RGB GPU Leaked
Â
ASUS’ Â upcoming GTX 980Ti Strix Ice GPU has been leaked, featuring RGB lighting and will be cooled by a high quality Bitspower full cover water block.Â
According to the latest rumors on this GPU it will be the first ASUS GPU that will feature RGB lighting, which can be controlled using the same software as ASUS’ RGB motherboards like the Maximus VIII Hero and the Maximus VIII Formula.Â
This GPU will be powered by dual PCIe 8-pin power connectors and features a beefy overclocking ready PCB, which will hopefully allow this GPU to achieve large overclocks.Â
Â
The GPU features a similar backplate design to other recent ASUS Strix series GPUs, with the front of the water block featuring a similar look.Â
When compared to Nvidia’s reference GTX 980Ti the Strix Ice is both longer and taller, giving ASUS more PCB space in order to fit in a more complex power delivery system with a total of 14 power phases.Â
Â
Â
For connectivity the GPU will have 3 DisplayPort 1.2 ports, a single DVI port and an HDMI 2.0 port. Right now this GPU is rumored to cost $899, which is around $150 more than a standard GTX 980Ti.Â
