Batman: Arkham Knight no longer coming to Mac and Linux, marking another failure for this catastrophe of a game, with pre-orderers of the Mac/Linux version needing to ask for a refund manually on Steam.
The game has always been a mess on PC, even after half a year of updates and driver improvements. Yes the game is much more playable than it was, but still even with an ultra high end system you can barely keep a steady 60FPS at a mere 1080p, which is simply not acceptable for a so called AAA title.Â

We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux. If you have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac or Linux, please apply for a refund via Steam.
A lot of lessons can be learned from this tale of the Arkham Knight, firstly not to trust a PC game from Warner Brothers unless it was made by the original developers like the PC version of Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and secondly not to pre-order a PC game and expect it to run well unless you have been told so by a trustworthy source.Â
