EK have now launched their first GTX 1080 Ti ready GPU water blocks, which comes with a single-slot IO bracket replacement to create a single-slot GTX 1080 Ti.

With the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti, EK has also changed their block design to add a special plastic cover the water block terminal, revealing exactly what GPU model is in the system. This is similar to the addition of “Geforce” or “GTX 1080 Ti” branding to pretty much all aftermarket GTX 1080 Ti aftermarket cooler designs, making us wonder whether or not Nvidia themselves requested this design change.

This water block will come in EK’s standard Nickel+Acetal or Nickel+clear Acrylic variants, with both versions offering the same performance. The Acrylic top variant will feature two pre-drilled 3mm holes for LEDs, which can be used to illuminate the water block.

This new water block design is now available to Pre-order on EK’s online store, with orders shipping on April 12th. The water block itself will cost €119.95, with a matching backplate costing between €29.95 and €37.95.

EK has also created a large list of compatible GTX 1080 Ti GPUs, which is available to view here.
