EK releases an RGB Radeon RX Vega GPU water block
This unit is EK’s first RGB GPU water block, utilising an RGB LED strip on the base of the GPU’s water block in a similar way to EK’s already popular RGB CPU/Motherboard monoblock designs.
The block itself doesn’t appear to have any significant design changes over EK’s original block design, supporting AMD’s Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, Radeon RX Vega 56 and RX Vega 64 reference models, all of which utilise the same PCB design. This block will also support the same EK-FC backplate designs as EK’s original water blocks.

This new block design will also support AMD’s reference backplate designs for RX Vega 56/64 and Radeon Vega Frontier Edition GPUs, except for the AIO cooled RX Vega 64 LC, which utilises a different backplate design.
The RGB functionality of this GPU uses a single 12V 40pin RGB cable, which can be used with ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock RGB LED control software, allowing these functions to be used with every major motherboard manufacturer.
EK will also ship this block with a single slot I/O cover, turning RX Vega GPUs into single-slot designs, allowing users to save space or insert other add-in cards to their PC.
This new water block design will ship at a price of €129.90 on the EK web store (including VAT), with purchases starting today.
