EK teases an RX Vega water block

EK has revealed that they are working on a new “Radeon” series water block, which suggests that they are creating a new water block design for AMD’s RX Vega series of GPUs.

The company has previously confirmed that they would be making a block for AMD’s Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, so it is not out of the question that this block will be designed to suit all reference Vega series GPU given their similarities in PCB design.

This should allow EK’s upcoming block to support AMD’s Radeon Vega Frontier Edition and AMD’s upcoming RX Vega 56 and RX Vega 64 designs. If EK can make a block to suit all of Nvidia’s GTX 10-series Frontier Edition GPUs, they can almost certainly make a block to support these three Vega series GPUs.

We can see that EK will continue to differentiate between Radeon and Geforce GPUs using a name plate, allowing those looking at water cooled systems to easily differentiate between AMD and Nvidia GPU hardware.
