EVGA’s RTX SUPER XC Gaming series GPUs have leaked at Retail
For starters, the RTX 2060 is listed with 8GB of VRAM, a design change that’s designed to specifically target AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 5700, which offers 8GB of GDDR6 memory, removing one perceived advantage that the Radeon cards offer. That, when combined with EVGA’s listed Boost clock speed of 1695MHz and the card’s expected increase in CUDA core count will give the RTX 2060 Super a clear advantage over Nvidia’s original RTX 2060 performance-wise.Â
With the RTX 2070 Super XC Gaming, we see that EVGA uses a boost clock speed of 1800MHz, which is the same as Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Founders Edition and 90MHz higher than Nvidia’s RTX 2070 Founders Edition. The RTX 2070 Super is expected to offer users 2560 CUDA cores, giving it a notable performance bump over Nvidia’s standard RTX 2070.Â
Both of EVGA’s leaked Super XC Gaming models feature dual-fan cooler designs, all-metal backplates and adjustable RGB lighting. EVGA’s RTX 2060 Super XC Gaming and RTX 2070 Super XC Gaming are listed with prices of $499.99 and $599.99 respectively.Â
