Gigabyte teases their RX Vega Aorus GPU

Gigabyte has confirmed that they are creating an aftermarket Radeon RX Vega GPU, which will release under the company’s Aorus Gaming brand.

Sadly this tease reveals nothing in the way of actual information on their aftermarket RX Vega series GPUs, though we already know that competing companies like ASUS plan on releasing their aftermarket Vega designs sometime next month.

As usual, we can expect a beefy aftermarket cooler design from Gigabyte, which will help users maintain lower thermals and allow the company to ship their GPU with a factory overclock. We have already seen from ASUS’ own RX Vega 64 Strix that significant performance improvements are possible over AMD’s reference air cooled design, though given the early state of these designs it is unknown exactly how well these custom GPUs will perform.

Gigabyte has not given us any information regarding the release of their aftermarket Vega GPUs, though they are expected to release sometime in September.
