GIGABYTE Unveils the Z170X-Gaming 6 Motherboard
Â
Gigabyte is adding yet another motherboard to their Z170 lineup, bridging the gap between the black and red Z170X-Gaming 5 and the Gaming 7, delivering a motherboard with specs more similar to the Gaming-6, but with the black colour scheme of the Gaming 5.
One of the biggest visual differences that can be seen between this motherboard and the gaming 5 is the plastic cover/ shield for the rear IO, which makes the motherboard look much better.Â
   Â
Â
This board is targeted for users who wish to overclock their memory and their CPU, being built in the full size ATX form factor and taking power for a standard 8-pin CPU power connector and using a high quality 11-phase CPU VRM.Â
When it comes to storage this motherboard has two M.2 slots, 6 SATA 3 ports or 3x SATA-Express ports and includes two USB 3.1 ports on the rear of the device.Â
Â
On the audio side this motherboard uses Gigabyte’s 8-channel AMP-UP onboard audio solution features a 115 dBA CODEC, user-replaceable OPAMP, electrolytic capacitors, ground-layer isolation, and gold-plated analog jacks, which should give this boards users a great audio experience.Â
Sadly Gigabyte did not reveal pricing for this new motherboard, but it should be available to purchase within the next few weeks.Â
