Â
New rumors for Left 4 Dead 3 report that the game will release in 2017 and already has names for the 4 playable characters for the 4 player online co-op first person combat game.
The Express reports that the there 4 playable characters for the game will include a woman called Katherine, a Gangster called Irvin, a comic book nerd called Keenan and a famous Kenpo fighter called Garret Jr.Â
Â
The last game in the series came out back in 2009, but it is believed that the latest title has been given a 2017 release date.
Reports also claim that the four characters have already been given names, with the sole female said to be known as Katherine.
Right now it is hard to tell if these new rumors have any solid foundations, but it is true that gamers have been looking for a new 4 player co-op combat game, with Warhammer The End Times: Vermintide and other online co-op games recently seeing great sales and have an active community supporting it.Â
With Valve backing the HTC Vive so heavily and the company releasing their Source 2 engine to developers it is likely that we will be seeing some new titles from Valve in the future. It is also expected that Left for Dead 3 will support VR with the HTC Vive givien Valve’s backing of that VR hardware.
