Lenovo Legion Y27gq 1440p 240Hz G-Sync Monitor To Launch This Spring
Today, 240Hz monitors are primarily restricted to high-end 1080p gaming screens, with 1440p variants being relatively unheard of. This rarity is due to the screen’s DisplayPort 1.4 requirements, as 1440p at 240Hz sits well above the bandwidth capabilities of DisplayPort 1.2.Â
On the display side, the y27gq is said to be “NearEdgeless”, making the screen ideal for multi-monitor configurations. Previous specifications listings have also given this screen a colour coverage rating of 90% DCI-P3. Older listings for this monitor mentioned HDR support, but Lenovo’s store listing currently makes no references to HDR support.Â
Built into the base of Lenovo’s Legion monitor is a detachable Harman Kardon certified speaker, which is said to provide superior audio quality to other built-in display audio solutions. The monitor also offers a free hanger for headphones, support for VESA compatible mounting solutions and support for USB charging/connectivity. Ergonomic lift, tilt, pivot and swivel functions are also available.Â
The Lenovo Legion Y27gq-25 is an ultrapowerful monitor that elevates your gaming experience. This monitor is designed to dominate with an impeccable blend of 240Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms response time,
and the latest NVIDIA®? G-SYNC⢠technology. This 27″ gaming monitor with its NearEdgeless QHD
