One of the most common signs of advancement is the ability to make technology smaller, be it the ability to create a computer that fits into your pocket or a refrigerator that is small enough to fit into your kitchen. In the past technology has always been bigger, but there has always been those that want to push the envelope and make the smallest and most compact products available.

Today MSI has announced their new AERO ITX series of GPUs, covering both the low and high-ends of Nvidia’s Pascal lineup, with models for the GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 1060 3GB, GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1070 GPUs.

These GPUs will all use the same basic cooler design, though the highest end models will come with additional heat pipes and denser fin stacks in order to adequately cool high-TDP GPUs.

Below you can see MSI’s AERO ITX GTX 1080, which comes in both overclocked and Nvidia reference clock speeds, using an 8-pin PCIe connection for power and has support for Nvidia’s SLI technology.

This GPU will support a single DVI and HDMI output and a total of three DisplayPort connections, making it suitable for most display configurations.

Both the GTX 1060 6GB and 3GB models will come with a similar cooler design to the GTX 1070 model, with this GPU coming with a 6-pin PCIe connection for power and without SLI support.

Like the GTX 1070 versions, these GPUs will support a single DVI and HDMI output and a total of three DisplayPort connections, making it suitable for most display configurations. These GTX 1060 6GB and 3GB models will also come with both reference clock speeds and overclocked versions. though these overclocks will only amount to around 2-4%.

Moving down to the GTX 1050 and 1050Ti versions we see that no external PCIe power is required, with these lower-end models only coming with support for a single DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connection.
