MSI releases their new RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Expert graphics card

The MSI booth was one of our highlights of CES 2024, and part of the reason for that was MSI’s RTX 4080 SUPER Expert graphics card. While the design isn’t for everyone, it was refreshing to see a custom GPU design that was unconventional. It was also great to see a new spin on Nvidia’s recent RTX Founders Edition heatsink designs. Now, MSI has released a new RTX 40 SUPER series Expert graphics card. Meet the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EXPERT.

Aesthetically, this GPU looks identical to its RTX 4080 SUPER counterpart, featuring the same 3-slot heatsink design. MSI calls this heatsink their “Flow Frozr”, and it looks incredible with its all-metal casing.

With MSI’s Expert GPUs being one of our highlights of CES 2024, we are glad to see this design make its way to more GPU models. Sadly, we do not know if MSI has any plans to release any more Expert series GPUs. That said, we would love to see an RTX 4070 SUPER version of this graphics card, or a larger RTX 4090 variant.

MSI, we want to see more unconventional GPU designs. Most gaming GPUs have the same look and feel. The Expert proves that not all high-end (Non-Founders Edition) GPUs need to use the same triple-fan heatsink designs of conventional GPUs.
