MSI’s GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X has been pictured, coming with a thick 2.5-slot cooler and a fan profile that is tuned for minimal noise output.

This new GPU from MSI comes with RGB illumination on the MSI logo and the Geforce logo on the side of the graphics card, though colours other than Red or White will clash with this GPU’s mostly red colour scheme.

With a Cooler that is significantly thicker than their previous TwinFrozr VI designs, MSI will be able to easily keep this GPU cool and quiet under load, despite this GPU’s higher heat output and power draw when compared to the GTX 1080. The MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X will come with a factory overclock and will come with dual 8-pin power connections and a strong aftermarket VRM solution.

At this time MSI has not revealed the clock speeds of this new GPU, though it is expected to launch in mid-April alongside other aftermarket GTX 1080 Ti designs.
