Nvidia delays their RTX 5070 launch to March 5th

Nvidia delays its RTX 5070 launch until after AMD’s Radeon RX 9000 series reveal

Nvidia has confirmed that its GeForce RTX 5070 GPU will no longer be released in February 2025. Instead, the RTX 5070 will launch on March 5th, after AMD’s Radeon RX 9000 series reveal event. The RTX 5070

This delay is good news for Nvidia, as it will do two things. First, it will allow more RTX 5070 GPUs to be shipped to retailers before launch. Second, it will enable Nvidia to react to AMD’s Radeon RX 9000/RDNA 4 GPU reveal, should they need to.

Hopefully, this delay will allow Nvidia to launch its RTX 5070 GPUs with adequate retail stock. Currently, the RTX 5070 has an MSRP of £539. However, that could change if AMD is aggressive enough with its Radeon RX 9000 series GPUs.
