Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 appears in Ashes of the Singularity Escalation Benchmark charts
Last week, specifications for Nvidia’s GTX 1660 leaked onto the web, but until now we have had no performance numbers to attach to these hardware changes. Now, performance numbers for Nvidia’s GTX 1660 have leaked thanks to TUM_APISAK, who has revealed the GPU’s performance in Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation.Â
Below you can see that the GTX 1660 sits in-between the GTX 1060 and the GTX 1660 Ti, which is exactly where we would expect the graphics card given its rumoured CUDA core count of 1,408. The graphics card’s rumoured price point of $219 places this in low-end GTX 1060 6GB territory pricing-wise, which is enough to make the graphics card a compelling purchase. At MSRP pricing the GTX 1660 should offer GTX 1060 pricing, more CUDA cores and Nvidia’s Turing architectural enhancements. It’s a win-win situation, assuming that these results and previously leaked specifications and prices are correct.Â
