Nvidia RTX 2060 Pictured – Release Date LeakedÂ
Nvidia plans to host their CES 2019 press conference on January 6th (7th in Europe), where the company is expected to announce their next RTX series graphics card, the RTX 2060.Â
Videocardz, the often reliable source of graphics card leaks, has predicted that the RTX 2060 will launch on January 7th and hit retailers on January 15th, suggesting that the graphics card will be revealed during Nvidia’s CES press conference. Videocardz has also added extra weight to their report by releasing images of Nvidia’s RTX 2060 Founders Edition, which will feature the same cooler design as the company’s RTX 2070.Â
The RTX 2060 is expected to offer PC gamers 6GB of GDDR6 memory and support Nvidia RTX Ray Tracing as well as Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) through the use of Tensor cores.Â

Assuming that these images are accurate, Nvidia’s RTX 2060 Founders Edition will be powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power connector and utilise the same dual-fan cooler design as the RTX 2070. The graphics card will also feature a USB-C DisplayLink output as well as dual DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and an HDMI 2.0b connector.Â
Much like its RTX series brethren, the RTX 2060 Founders Edition is expected to utilise GDDR6 memory and offer 14Gbps speeds, delivering 366GB/s of memory bandwidth.Â

If these leaks are correct Nvidia’s RTX 2060 will release in mid-January, though given the pricing of existing RTX series graphics cards the RTX 2060 is expected to act more like a GTX 1070/1070 Ti replacement than as a direct GTX 1060 successor. Final specifications and pricing for Nvidia’s RTX 2060 are unknown.Â
