Nvidia releases their Geforce 417.01 driver for Darksiders IIIÂ
Nvidia’s Geforce 417.01 driver is now here, delivering users of Geforce hardware game-specific optimisations for Darksiders III, while addressing several bugs that were present in previous releases.Â
With this release users of 4K displays should no longer have any issues accessing refresh rate of over 30Hz, Event ID 14 errors should no longer occur on Turing-based graphics cards and Ansel images should capture currectly when taking screenshots that are significantly higher than your dipslay’s naitive resolution. Â

Fixed Issues in this Release
– Monitor refresh rates higher than 30 Hz cannot be applied on 4k monitors. [2423614]
– Frame Rate Limiter 2 may not work. [2423316]
– [Turing GPUs]: Event ID 14 error may occur if CSM is disabled in the system BIOS. [2434721]
 [GeForce TX 650]: Shadowplay recordings are corrupted. [2416982]
– [G-Sync]: G-sync may not disengage after exiting games. [2418574]

Open Issues in Version 417.01 WHQL
As with every released driver, version 417.01 WHQL of the Release 415 driver has open issues and enhancement requests associated with it. This section includes lists of issues that are either not fixed or not implemented in this version. Some problems listed may not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others may have workaround solutions.

– [Firefox]: Cursor shows brief corruption when hovering on certain links in Firefox. [2107201]

– [G-Sync]: Random flickering occurs when connecting G-sync monitor + non-G-Sync HDMI monitor with G-Sync enabled. [2399845]
