Nvidia’s latest Geforce HotFix Driver addresses G-Sync, The Witcher and StreamLas OBS issues
Late last night, Nvidia released a new Geforce HotFix driver to address several issues with the company’s latest drivers, issues that can impact G-Sync users, players of The Witcher 3 and users of StreamLabs OBS.
Below is a brief description of the issues that this driver seeks to address.
– [Call of Duty Modern Warfare] Streaming of gameplay using StreamLabs OBS will randomly stop
– [The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine] Game may crash when a user reaches a specific cut scene
– [SLI+G-SYNC Stutter] User may experience minor stuttering when using NVIDIA SLI in combination with G-SYNC.
If you are affected by any of these issues, Nvidia recommends that you download their new Geforce 442.01 HotFix driver. If not, you can continue using your current drivers. These issues will be addressed in Nvidia’s next WHQL driver release.
