Nvidia’s RTX 3070 will launch on October 15th – RTX 3080 Review Embargo Delayed

Late last night, Nvidia informed OC3D that the company had delayed the release of RTX 3080 reviews until September 16th, citing shipping delays and other issues related to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Ths delay is designed to help allow reviewers to get enough time to test their new graphics cards, as many have received RTX 3080 samples later than expected. PC enthusiasts can expect us to publish our RTX 3080 review on September 16th at 2 PM BST.

Nvidia has also confirmed to us that their RTX 3070 graphics card will release on October 15th at 2 PM BST. With Nvidia’s RTX 3070 promising RTX 2080 Ti-like performance for £469, you can be sure that this launch will be one to mindful of.

At this time, the release dates of Nvidia’s RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards appear to be unchanged. Only the RTX 3080’s review date has been altered.
