Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB drops below MSRP in the UK

Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB drops below MSRP at two UK retailers

At launch, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB had an MSRP of £399 in the UK. This week, the GPU has dropped below this pricing level at several UK retailers. Specifically, Palit’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has become available for £389.99 at Overclockers UK and Scan Computers.

Unlike most RTX 50 series graphics cards, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti has remained available to order or pre-order at its MSRP price since launch. Clearly, gamers are unwilling to pay inflated pricing for this graphics card. Additionally, demand has not been high enough to see this GPU’s lower-cost models sell out. Nvidia’s high-end RTX 50-series GPUs sold out so fast that “MSRP” priced graphics cards were considered non-existent by PC builders.

While it may be £10 below MSRP, it’s still below MSRP. That’s a sign that Nvidia’s lower-end RTX 50 series cards are not selling well. If they were, why sell them below their MSRP price? Perhaps AMD’s new RX 9060 XT has Nvidia and its partners spooked?

Next month, AMD will launch its Radeon RX 9060 XT, and that will bring competition to this segment of the GPU market. With AMD pricing its 16GB RX 9060 XT at $349.99, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti series faces some tough competition.
