Nvidia’s RTX 2070 will release on October 17th

Nvidia has confirmed that their RTX 2070 graphics card will release on October 17th, with pricing which starts at $499. This new graphics card model will sit below the company’s RTX 2080 and release with pricing that is similar to Nvidia’s GTX 1080. 

The Founders Edition model of Nvidia’s RTX 2070 ships with a design that is shorter than Nvidia’s RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti, maintaining the same dual axial fan design while featuring an 8-pin power input at the rear of the graphics card. Like Nvidia’s other RTX Founders Edition graphics cards, the RTX 2070 Founders Edition will ship with a 90MHz increase in boost clock speed over the company’s reference specifications.

In the UK, Nvidia’s RTX 2070 Founders Edition costs £569, while the same card costs $599 in the US. Unlike the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti, Nvidia’s Geforce RTX 2070 doesn’t support SLI, lacking an NVLINK connector.
