Powercolor launches the “fastest Navi card” with its liquid-cooled RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil
Powercolor doesn’t simply modify its generic heatsink designs to fit onto AMD’s latest GPU models. No, Powercolor creates a unique cooler design with each generation, cementing themselves as one of Radeon’s top brands. There’s a reason why Powercolor’s Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 Red Devil cards received praise from us when we reviewed them earlier this year (review link here).Â
But what if Powercolor decided to take things to another level? What if they push AMD’s Radeon Navi/RDNA architecture to its limits? They have, with their new Radeon RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil graphics card, a GPU that claims to be the “fastest Navi card in the world”.Â
To create their Liquid Devil Radeon RX 5700, Powercolor teamed up with EK to create a custom water block for their unique Devil series RX 5700 XT PCB. This board design features a 10-phase VRM where most AIB RX 5700 XT cards feature 8, and on top of it sits a “special binned” graphics core, which ensures boosted overclocking headroom and greater stock performance.Â
PowerColor’s Radeon RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil features a boost clock of 2070MHz, which is a full 60MHz higher than PowerColor’s RX 5700 XT Red Devil. This gives the Radeon RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil a boost clock that’s a full 165MHz higher than AMD’s reference design. Sadly, Powercolor has not provided us with a game clock for this graphics card.Â

With Powercolor’s Radeon RX 5700 XT comes a pre-installed water block, which ensures that this graphics card can be liquid cooled without voiding your warranty with a custom water block install. The water block used on this graphics card was designed in partnership with EK and flows coolant over all critical components of the graphics card. On top of that, this water block has integrated RGB lighting support.Â
This graphics card also features a full-cover backplate which has a brushed aluminium Liquid Devil logo and a premium look to it. This graphics card also ships with an EK die pack, which can transform EK’s clear of white coolants into a personalised colour mix. Red, yellow and Blue dies are included.Â
 Â
Powercolor plans to release its Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil to retailers on November 25th for £569 in the UK, $599 in the US and â¬599 in Europe.Â
