Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Is coming To PC This Fall

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will be coming to PC this fall as part of it’s Western release/ localization. The game will be based inside the first season of the Psycho Pass Anime and will feature many decisions that will determine how the game plays out.

This game is a visual novel that is based in a universe where your mental health is constantly monitored and measured on your own personal Psycho Pass, where changes in stress level and your mental well-being can mark you as ill or potentially as a latent criminal, prompting immediate treatment or incarceration.

In this world all may seem perfect, but under the world’s healthy exterior there lies a dark world where the Police’s Enforcement Division stands a a thin line between order and chaos. In this game you fill the shoes of a new recruit in the Enforcement Division.

The player can choose between two new detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Department’s Division 1; Nadeshiko Kugatachi, a calm and serious Inspector whose memories were wiped, and Takuma Tsurugi, a hot-headed Enforcer who is searching for his missing childhood friend.

You must decide the best course of action for each given situation, but regardless of the hierarchy that separates Inspector from Enforcer, players must be mindful that every decision has its own repercussions. With an intricate decision-making system, Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness offers a twisted plot and compelling cases, providing a number of different endings. Ultimately, depending on the choices made, Hues may deteriorate beyond recovery, cases may be left unsolved, and the game may end quicker than expected.

Sadly this game will not feature English voice acting, but feature the original Japanese Voice acting and localized text. The game is not expected to be overly demanding on PC and will come to Steam in Fall 2016.
