Sapphire starts teasing their RX Vega 64 Nitro Graphics card

Custom RX Vega series GPUs are coming, with XFX, PowerColor, ASUS and Gigabyte having already showcased their  AIB-specific variants. These new GPUs all offer a thermal solution that is a lot more substantial than AMD’s reference air-cooled RX Vega offerings.

Sapphire has now joined this group, teasing their own upcoming RX Vega Nitro Graphics processor, which is expected to release with RX Vega 64 and 56 counterparts. Sadly this teaser does not showcase the GPU itself, instead delivering a Pacific Rim-like humanoid battle robot, which is slightly underwhelming given the fact that images of this GPU have already leaked online

Right now, no official images or specifications of Sapphire’s RX Vega Nitro have been made available.

This tease comes immediately after AMD’s reveal of Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition, the company’s next major Radeon Driver update. This driver is expected to deliver several Vega and Polaris specific optimisations as well as new features. Are AIBs waiting for AMD to release this big GPU driver before they release their custom RX Vega GPU variants?
