Sapphire teases its Radeon RX 6800 XT Pulse

Sapphire Technology has just teased their second custom Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics cards, the RX 6800 XT Pulse. This tease comes one day after Sapphire’s Radeon RX 6800 XT Nitro teaser, the company’s high-end RDNA 2 offering.

The Pulse series has traditionally been Sapphire’s value offering, delivering users lower clock speeds and pricing than their higher-end Nitro and Toxic series offerings. Even so, Sapphire’s RX 6800 XT Pulse appears to feature a larger triple-fan heatsink which features fan designs which are unlike those which are used in the RX 6800 XT Nitro.

Based on the image below, Sapphire’s RX 6800 XT Pulse appears to offer a 2.5-slot heatsink design, making the graphics card similar in size to AMD’s reference Radeon RX 6800 XT.

Custom Radeon RX 6800 series graphics cards are due to release later this month from some manufacturers, offering users unique heatsink designs, factory overclocks and other custom features. Sapphire’s custom designs have often been considered amongst the best when it comes to custom Radeon GPU models, making Sapphire’s RDNA 2 offerings something to keep an eye on if you are considering an upgrade to AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture.

AMD is due to launch their RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT on November 18th, though this launch will likely be restricted to AMD’s reference designs. At this time, we have not confirmed the availability dates of custom RDNA 2/Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card. Let’s hope that everything will be revealed soon.
