AMD’s RX Vega series of GPUs are currently available only in reference form, leaving AMD fans without the ability to purchase custom versions of AMD’s latest GPUs. While custom versions have already been shown by ASUS and XFX, very few AIB Vega GPUs have been showcased, which is strange given how long ago the GPU launched.

Now images of Sapphire’s custom RX Vega 64 Nitro GPU have been leaked online by HWBattle, revealing that this GPU will feature a large triple-slot design and feature three 8-pin PCIe power connections. Looking at this GPU from the side we can also see that this card comes with a tri-fan cooling solution with dual 95mm fans and a single 85mm fan and that the GPU’s cooler and backplate overhang the GPU’s PCB.

Based on these images it also looks like Sapphire will be shipping this GPU with a custom bracket to prevent GPU sag, which looks like it will be a very useful add-on given the sheer size of this GPU.

Beside this GPU’s I/O section and at the rear of this GPU’s heatsink two 4-pin fan connections are clearly visible, a feature that was previously exclusive to ASUS GPUs. This feature will allow the GPU to control two 4-pin fans using the GPU, likely through a new version of Sapphire’s TriXX overclocking software.

The clear sections of the GPU that are around the card’s 95mm fans are designed to offer RGB illumination when powered on, illumination that is expected to be controlled in the same way as Sapphire’s previous RGB GPU designs.

Sapphire’s new RX Vega 64 Nitro will come with dual HDMI display outputs and two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, making this GPU suitable for most multi-monitor configurations. This is especially true for AMD given the fact that FreeSync is supported on both HDMI and DisplayPort, unline Nvidia G-Sync.

At this time the final clock speeds of this GPU are unknown, though they are expected to be higher than AMD’s reference model.
