Star Wars Battlefront III Unseen Footage

EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront was not the first time that a sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront 2 was attempted, Battlefront III was in development since around 2006 by Free Radical Design, but was sadly cancelled in 2008.

Last night new gameplay footage of this title was revealed, which has been a first since the initial leak of the project back in 2008, showing alleged footage from the title. This footage was allegedly recorded in 2009.

A few minutes of unseen PC footage of Free Radical Design’s Battlefront 3, which looked so much better than the pre-alpha footage that I have been looking at for years.

As a fan of the original Star Wars: Battlefront series it saddens me that we never saw this game come to market, so sadly we will never know what this game would have played like.

if the popularity of the Beta for EA’s Battlefront is anything to go by it looks like EA has done a great job with their Battlefront title, but without a single player campaign, galactic conquest or even space battles it can be easily said that this will not be a sequel that longtime fans wanted.
