Street Fighter 5 will come to SteamOS
Â
The developers of Street Fighter 5 will be working with Steam to give the game SteamOS support and full Steam Controller support.Â
Â
Hey everyone. Iâm excited to announce that Street Fighter V will be officially supporting Steam OS!  We are working closely with Valve on this endeavor, and will have more details to announce in the near future, so stay tuned for updates.
Street Fighter V will also support the Steam controller, and youâll be able to try that out right away during the upcoming beta test that takes place from December 18~20.

Â
The Windows PC system requirements for the game have already been released, but sadly these lack the recommended specs for an AMD based System.Â
As we can see below this game is fairly CPU intensive, requiring the minimum of an Intel core i3 Haswell CPU and recommending a Haswell i5 4690K CPU.Â
On the GPU side we can see that this game required the minimum of a GTX 480 and recommends the more modern GTX 960.Â
Â
- OS:Â Windows 7 64-bitÂ
- Processor:Â Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHzÂ
- Memory:Â 6 GB RAMÂ
- Graphics:Â NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480, GTX 570, GTX 670, or betterÂ
- DirectX:Â Version 11Â
- Network:Â Broadband Internet connectionÂ
- Sound Card:Â DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset
Â
- OS:Â Windows 7 64-bitÂ

Â
Street Fighter V is due to be released in March 2016 and players will be able to unlock all post launch DLC in-game, though I imagine that this will be a long and grindy process.Â
