Ubisoft Releases Nvidia GameWorks Trailer for The Division

Ubisoft has released a new Nvidia GameWorks Trailer for Tom Clancy’s The Division, showcasing the game’s use of HBAO+ and PCSS in order to make what they call the most realistic representation of New York in games to date.

Join Tom Clancy’s The Division’s Technical Director, Anders Holmquist, as he takes you through NVIDIA’s GameWorks Technologies featured in the PC version of the game including HBAO (Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion) and PCSS (Percentage Closer Soft Shadows).

Right now the game is bundles with GTX 970 or higher GPUs and as an Nvidia branded game is expected to run best on Nvidia hardware, though in the game’s recent beta we actually found that AMD perform better, though this was with early game drivers on an early version of the game.
