XFX teases their Radeon RX 6800 XT THICC series

On the company’s Facebook page, XFX has started to ease their first custom RX 6800 series graphics cards, showcasing what appears to be a THICC series Radeon RX 6800 XT.

Based on the image below, XFX’s custom Radeon RX 6800 XT should be a triple-fan design which is powered by dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors, making this design similar to all other teased or announced custom Radeon RX 6800 XT models. Strangely, the image below also lists this graphics card as an “XL” model, which is either a typo for “XT” or a part of the name of XFX’s custom RX 6000 series lineup.

AMD is currently due to release their Radeon RX 6800 series of graphics cards on November 18th, launching initially with their reference models. Custom RX 6800 series designs are due to launch a few weeks later, arriving from all major AMD AIB partners.

At this time it is unknown how fast AMD’s RX 6800 XT AIB variants will be. Large factory overclocks are expected from some models, though none of AMD’s AIB partners have revealed the clock speeds of their custom models at this time.
