Amazon confirms the dates of Prime Day 2020

Amazon’s Summer Prime Day was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, delaying the company’s premier sales event until later in the year. Today, Amazon has confirmed that 2020’s Prime Day will be hosted between October 13th and 14th, when Amazon Prime members can expect to access a large range of products with heavily reduced prices.   

In the UK and US, Amazon hopes to assist local businesses by allowing those who spend more than £10 /$10 on items from selected local businesses to receive a free £10/$10 credit to spend during Prime Day. Amazon is also offering its Prime members early deals on some Amazon-branded products. 

Amazon’s Prime Day deals will become available at 00:01 AM on Tuesday, October 13th, and will end 48 hours later at 23:59 on October 14th. As part of Prime Day, Amazon is also offering its users four months of Amazon Music for £0.99 and selected movie rentals for £1.99 for a limited time. 

Those who install Amazon Assistant onto their browsers will also receive a £5 discount on their next purchase that’s worth £25 or more. This offer will be available until October 26th.
