Earlier this year, Logitech Gaming confirmed that they had formed an exclusive partnership with Herman Miller, the designers behind premium ergonomic chairs such as the iconic Aeron. Through this partnership, Logitech planned to create the “ultimate gaming chair”, bringing “Ergonomic Excellence” to gamers.

Now, Herman Miller has revealed the Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair, a £1,195 chair which features a 12-year warranty, science-backed ergonomic features and a frame that is designed to reduce pressure built up in your spine and encourage healthy movements.

If you are in any way acquainted with Herman Miller, you will know that their chairs are not cheap. The Logitech G Embody was always going to be expensive. All that science comes at a cost, and there is more to the Embody when what we see in all racing-style gaming chairs.

For those who spend a lot of time at a desk, quality seating is a must. Yes, being comfortable is a major perk, but when it comes to long-term health considerations, quality chairs can have their impact, especially if your current chair doesn’t promote good posture.

When compared to Herman Miller’s original Embody chair, the Logitech G Embody has been upgraded to offer users an additional layer of foam to support more active postures. The seat has also been given “cooling foam”, a copper-infused material which helps to prevent heat build-up during long gaming sessions. These changes will make the G Embody more comfortable for long term use, which is great news for gamers.

Right now, Herman Miller’s Logitech G Embody gaming chair is now available to pre-order in the UK, though users can sign up for email notifications for when the chair becomes available.
