Netflix’s Dragon’s Dogma Anime will release this September
In recent Tweet, Netflix confirmed that the series would arrive on September 17th, coming from the talented animators at Sublimation. The Anime will likely follow the events of the game closely, though the game is said to feature new characters. Sublimation is a studio which specialises in CG animation, though Netflix has confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma will feature a mix of CG and traditional 2D animation.Â
Below is the Anime’s official blurb on Netflix.Â
Based on a world-famous action RPG set in an open world, Dragon’s Dogma from Capcom will be brought to life as a Netflix original anime series. The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.
