ROG and IKEA team up to create “affordable and ergonomic gaming furniture”

ASUS’ Republic of Gamers division and IKEA have teamed up to create an exclusive range of gaming-oriented pieces of furniture, catering to the specific needs of the worlds 2.5 billion gamers.

The first fruits of this new partnership will be seen in 2021, with products arriving in China as early February and within the rest of the world’s markets by October 2021.

At this time, neither Ikea nor ASUS have revealed any of their planned products. We know that these offerings will include items of furniture and gaming accessories, all of which will be designed with gamers in mind.

Below is a statement from IKEA’s Global Business Leader of Workspace, Ewa Rychert, who has stated that these products will be “affordable and ergonomic”.

With the rapid growth of gaming market across the world and a fast growing number of people playing, IKEA is curious about how home furnishing could improve the gaming experience and life around it.

By teaming up with ROG, IKEA wants to combine home furnishing knowledge with ROG’s expertise in creating exceptional gaming experiences. Together, we set out to help the many gamers, and their families, welcome gaming home through developing a new range of affordable and ergonomic gaming furniture and accessories, designed to increase performance while also blending in beautifully to homes.
