Vodafone suffers major outage, with over 100,000 users reporting issues
Thousands of Vodafone users report issues with its network services
The UK network provider Vodafone has suffered a major outage, affecting users across the UK. Reports of problems started at around 2.45 PM today, with Downdetector noting almost 140,000 outage reports at 3:16 PM.
Vodafone has confirmed that it has had a “major issue on our network affecting broadband, 4G, and 5G services”. Users with both broadband and mobile phone services from the network provider are doubly frustrated, as users typically rely on one network if the other faces outages.

Vodafone has not provided users of its network with any ETA for a fix. This leaves Vodafone users unable to communicate using their mobile or broadband networking. Self-employed users are especially hard hit, as these users often require access to online services for their work.
Other networks that use Vodafone services have also been impacted by today’s outages, including Voxi, which Vodafone owns.
