Adobe to host online Photoshop…for free

Adobe’s CEO Bruce Chizen has had a nice talk with CNET and revealed Adobe’s new plan for it’s flagship software.

He said:

That is new (for Adobe). It’s something we are sensitive to because we are watching folks like Google do it in different categories, and we want to make sure that we are there before they are, in areas of our franchises

That plan involves being a hosted, online, free service.

Awesome

This is a great move by Adobe and will hopefully push other big companies to get their applications out like this.

Photoshop for free certainly gets me excited…how about you?
